All apartments have, heating radiators and heated towels in the bathrooms, air conditioning/heating, Internet fiber optic connection via cable or wifi, TV 32” with international channels, safe in cupboards, iron, washing machine, drying rack, kitchen with induction hob, coffee maker, toaster electric and kitchenware. One of the apartments is adapted for disabled people.

The reception of our apartments is all day attended from our café in the same building.

Upon arrival you can check-in from 14 h (if available, could be earlier), at the check-in we will provide you with a card to access the apartments and activate electrical power, if your arrival is late and the cafeteria is closed we will provided you with a key number to enter through the main door.

It is recommended that your mobile number is provided when making your reservation and have it always operative in case we need to contact you.

Breakfast is included in the price of the stay, and you can have it in our cafeteria.

Check-out is at noon at 12 h, but we have a free luggage to deposit your luggage if you wish to leave the city later.

The total amount of the reservations is charged three days before the day of the arrival in the credit card provided, your reservation can be cancelled without charge three days before the arrival date, then the amount would not be refundable in case of cancellation, except in justified cases providing documentation of the setback. In the case of not being able to charge your card we will try to get in touch with you before we cancel your booking.

During the weekends and bank holidays there is a minimum stay of two nights.

The origins of Cordoba are lost in the mists of time. Its position by the river and the fertile farming land of the Campiña made it a perfect place for the first prehistoric settlements. However, it was not until the late Bronze Age (8th/9th century B.C.) when the first proper settlement was established. After the arrival of the Phoenicians and Greeks on the peninsula, the city became known as an important mining and commercial centre, since the River Guadalquivir was then navigable as far as Cordoba. This facilitated the spread of artistic and commercial products and made for easier communication with the main cities of the period.

Cordoba, World Heritage Site

Cordoba is a city with an impressive cultural and monumental patrimony. Its strategic position, near the River Guadalquivir, which was formerly navigable, and the legacy of the different peoples who settled on its rich farming lands meant that Cordoba was always considered a privileged place.

The UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) recognised in 1994 the universal importance of Cordoba’s historic legacy, and extended the title of World Heritage Site not only to the Mosque-Cathedral, but also to all the streets and buildings around it. In addition, in December 2012, Cordoba was awarded a further accolade: The Festival of the Patios (Courtyards) was added to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity sites.

Therefore, Cordoba now holds 3 inscriptions in the World Heritage List granted by the UNESCO: the Mosque-Cathedral (1984), the historical quarter surrounding it (1994) and the Festival of the Patios (Courtyards) (2012). In addition, with the rest of Spain, it shares the titles of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity awarded to Flamenco (2010) and the Mediterranean Diet (2013).

The World Heritage Site award aims to help protect, identify and conserve elements of our cultural or natural inheritance which are considered particularly valuable. Holding the title involves a set of rights and obligations, which this city has justly deserved.

The UNESCO defines the word Heritage as “the legacy we receive from the past, in which we live in the present and which we hand on to the future”. The political and cultural leaders in Cordoba, as well as each and every citizen, have been entrusted with the task of keeping watch over, conserving, protecting and encouraging interest in our History, so that we ourselves, as well as other peoples and cultures, can learn more about it and feel enriched by it.
